We have just returned from Kamari and It was a great place to stay and Santorini is a very beautiful Island to visit. However, due to the value of the pound it is a little on the expensive side, especially Fira.I love the Acqua Vatos Hotel. The location is perfect as it’s extremely close to everything, including the beach, restaurants, cocktail bars, shops and the bus stop to Fira and Oia. The rooms are spotless, stylish and clean with a large comfortable bed, balcony, fridge, TV and a very good modern bathroom with shower. There was plenty of storage for clothes. It has a lovely pool in a pretty garden and has plenty of comfortable sun loungers or chairs. There are also different size rooms that you can choose from to suit your budget, all very good value for Kamari and Santorini. The breakfast is great with a large selection including freshly baked Greek pastries. Miltos and Rania on reception are so friendly and all the staff working here are all lovely and so kind and helpful. My wife and I were so happy here, I didn’t want to leave. Fira and Oia are both worth a visit and are very easy to get to, although you have to be a bit of a mountain goat getting around. The views are fantastic and the sunset at Oia is spectacular, It has to be one of the most attractive places in Greece.
